Comunity Happenings - Outreach Efforts

Big Thank You

Goodwill collected our bags, and we had 150! We will get lots of vouchers from this to help the needy.

Not-so-extreme Makeover

The “Go” Deacon team wants to “Get Real”. Their first effort is “Find a Need, Fill a Need”. We want to use the “Extreme Home Makeover” model. If you know of a need (including your own, that’s fine, too) please contact the office or one of the deacons listed below by phone, email, or just drop a note in our mailbox in the office. We’ll handle this in confidence and figure out the best way to fill it.

Collection for the Homeless

Julie Gordon is collecting lotion, razors, and shaving cream for the homeless. There will be a box in the coatroom for donations. Thank you for all your support.

Dandy Memories Wanted

“Current Noblesville” newspaper is shining the spotlight on Jim Dandy restaurant in an upcoming issue and would like you to be part of it. Feed them your fondest memories of the 45-year-old Noblesville landmark. It could be about a date you once had there, about a family tradition or about the food, service, and atmosphere there. Camp Wabashi Cookbook’s are back from the press. They are $12 each and can be purchased from Tami Ferris. There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board if interested.
