Green Valley Preschool

Welcome to the Green Valley Church of Christ Preschool. We are part of the ministry of the Green Valley Church of Christ, and are designed to provide a program of learning in a positive Christian atmosphere. We use Bible stories and biblical values to enhance our learning program. Our curriculum includes spiritual and developmental classes based on the age of your child. We place an emphasis on providing the children with various learning opportunities. Through our program we hope to instill in your child a love for God, a feeling of belonging and an excitement of learning about the world around them. The activities the program provides will develop skills for social, physical, emotional and spiritual growth.

Green Valley Preschool is now offering a class for 2 year olds, The Lollipop Gang, for the upcoming school year. Parents will have the option of having their child attend a 1 day or 2 day a week program. If you or anyone you know could benefit from this program, please pick up a registration form from the rack in the foyer or from Vickie Brock.

It's that time again to register for the Green Valley Preschool! We have had a terrific year and are looking forward to next year and all the opportunities it may present to us. If your child will be 3 or 4 by August 1st, please pick up a brochure and registration form or download and fill up the following forms:

Jump Start Class (3's)

Days: Tuesday & Thursday
Hours: 8:45 - 11:30 AM
Fee: $95.00 per month
Age: 3 by August 1st, 2010

Pre Kindergarten Class (4's)

Days: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
Hours: 8:45 AM - 1:00 PM
Fees: $140.00 per month
Age: 4 by August 1st, 2010

Non-refundable registration fee of $45.00 due at time of registration.

Mission

Our goal at the Green Valley Preschool is to work toward the individual development of your child. The major concerns are physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and creative development. Each child is provided with experiences that will stimulate their growth in these areas:

Physical Development

To help your child with his physical development we provide indoor and outdoor exercise daily. We improve child's fine motor skills by cutting, coloring and using small manipulative in many hands-on activities. Large motor skills are developed through games, free play and organized team activities.

Mental Development

All activities assist in mental development. Pre-reading skills, daily Bible lessons, beginning printing skills, number recognition and music are all incorporated into the curriculum.

Social Development

Free play with other children is always the best teacher of social skills. We begin each day with a period of time in which the children can interact with each other at various play centers.

Emotional Development

Your child's emotional well being is always in the minds of our staff. our preschool strives to provide a safe and stable environment which promotes a sense of security in the hearts of the children.

Spiritual Development

Christian principles are always apparent in everything we do. Daily Bible stories and activities will be conducted to fulfill our responsibility to teach about God and His love.
